Effective Friday, 10/02/09,
Purchasing will no longer send postcards to
vendors to notify them of open bids.
Any vendors who want to be aware of available solicitations must check
our Open Bids web page until the e-mail notification section of
our new Vendor Self Service program is fully implemented.
At this time,
all Vendors
who wish to transact business with the County must update and maintain
all of their information used for notification of solicitations and
issuance of payments in the VSS program. Existing vendors who
have not updated their account by selecting and adding
applicable
COMMODITY CODES
since 8/24/09 will not receive our
e-mail notifications of available solicitations. Please visit
www.volusia.org/purchasing
and go to Vendor Self Service
to update your information. You may call the Purchasing office
at 386-736-5935 for
assistance with
completing this process. |
